<p>The Action4Climate jury, which awarded the competition&rsquo;s prizes, was led by filmmaker and screenwriter Bernardo Bertolucci. <p>The animated short was also projected on one of the famous screens in&nbsp;<a href="http://connect4climate.org/initiative/action4climate-times-square&quot; target="_blank">New York City&rsquo;s Times Square</a>, a location visited by more than 300,000 people every day.</p>

<p>Recently, Francina and Benjamín traveled to Buenos Aires to attend the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.ventanasur.com.ar/en/&quot; target="_blank">Ventana Sur 2014 Festival</a>, one of the most important cinema markets in the region, where the film was showcased for hundreds of professionals from the cinema industry. There, the Argentinian film director&nbsp;<a href="http://vimeo.com/89320852&quot; target="_blank">Pablo Trapero</a>&nbsp;&ndash; also member of the Action4climate jury &ndash; offered his compliments. &ldquo;Trapero told us that he has loved our animation and that he saw it with his 12 years old son,&rdquo; says Francina proudly.</p>

Overview of Connect4Climate Africa Photo and Video Competition 2011

The Competition: In the run-up to the United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 17) in Durban, South Africa this December, Connect4Climate launched a photo and video challenge on climate change People from the ages of 13 to 35 were invited to share their personal climate change stories focused on Africa around six themes: Agriculture, Energy, Forests, Gender, Health and Water - see all the submission on our Facebook App.

Connect4Climate is a World Bank Group Multi-Donor Trust Fund powered by Italy’s Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development that drives climate action through advocacy, partnerships, and creative communications.
