This year’s COP2 is being held in Marrakesh, Morocco, from November 7 to 18th. To celebrate that, Film4Climate partnered with the Kingdom of Morocco, Ministry of Energy, Mining, Water & Environment to award the best young filmmakers of the Middle East and North Africa region, with a Special MENA Award.
The top 10 finalists were selected by the prestigious Moroccan director, Farida Benlyazid and the World Bank Group Vice President of the MENA region, Hafez Ghanem.
The winner will be invited to attend the Climate Champions Gala Dinner on the evening of November 13th, courtesy of Prince Albert II of Monaco, where the Minister Hakima El Haité will announce the Film4Climate Special Award for the MENA region.
