Can you go to the movies, and leave more knowledgeable about the world’s climate? What is the environmental impact of producing a film, and what could be done to offset it? How are young filmmakers around the world taking on climate change?
Once again, Connect4Climate travels to the Cannes Film Festival. This year, we're building and expanding Film4Climate, a global initiative committed to developing a concrete plan to mitigate the environmental impact of film production as well as raising awareness and encouraging action on climate change through the storytelling powers of cinema.

The Eco City World Summit on Sustainable Cities will take place from the 25th until the 27th in Nantes, France - the city designated by the European Union as European Green Capital 2013.
The event is hosted by Connect4Climate, World Bank Group, and the Center for Research on Environmental Decisions (CRED) at World Bank headquarters. We are bringing together a unique, multidisciplinary group of scholars and multi-sector leaders who are experts in communicating climate change to a broad audience.
Connect4Climate is joining 35 high-level business leaders and thoughtleaders on October 29 to discuss concrete ideas and actions to ensure that the business case for sustainability is on the agenda in the lead up to COP21 in Paris 2015 at the Sustainia Workshop "The Business Case for Saving the Planet."
