We Innovate4Climate to Accelerate Climate Action, Frankfurt, 22-24 May

SEforALL Forum 2018 Recap

The Forum’s closing day, with over 800 attendees present, did not disappoint. On a wide range of issues – energy access finance, bringing clean energy to refugee camps, clean cooking – government leaders, companies, NGOs, and financiers stepped up with new collaborations and commitments to achieve faster results.

Here is a recap of two intensive but productive days in Lisbon where all different players were committed to sustainable energy for all, leaving no one behind.

6th GEF Assembly: More than 100 countries meet to protect global environment

The Sixth Assembly of the Global Environment Facility (GEF), set up to help tackle our planet’s most pressing environmental problems, will take place from June 27-28, 2018 at the Furama International Conference Center in Da Nang, Viet Nam.

The 2018 Sustainable Energy for All Forum took place in Lisbon from the 2nd to 3rd of May 2018 when more than 800 leaders from government, business, civil society & international organizations gathered together in Convento do Beato to commit to achieving SDG7 - sustainable energy for all, leaving no one behind.

Connect4Climate enters into knowledge partnership with Green Power Exchange

Green Power Exchange (GPX) is joining Connect4Climate's community composed of over 500 partners around the world, including civil society groups, media networks, international organizations, academic institutions, youth groups, and the private sector. Connect4Climate interacts with a global audience of more than a million individuals who participate in the Connect4Climate's social media channels.

Green Power Exchange strives at contributing to the innovative solution for peer-to-peer power trading, the incorporation of the blockchain and the tokenization of green power encouraging consumer choice and reducing costs for both producer and consumer. GPX's solution has the potential to disrupt an outdated and stagnant power market combined with its ambition to encourage widespread adoption of easily accessible green power.

Green Power Exchange and Connect4Climate will now cross-promote and support each other’s like-minded initiatives and activities under the principles of a knowledgeable partnership.
