The 43rd session will be the first plenary session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) during 2016 and will be presided over by the newly-elected IPCC Chair, Hoesung Lee. The main agenda items of this session will be the follow-up to the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP-21) and the themes for Special Reports during the 6th Assessment Report (AR6) cycle.
