Break Free is a call to action, a worldwide movement, that intends to push governments and fossil fuels industry to fight against carbon pollution and climate change. 350.org created this movement also as a platform so people and organizations around the world can take action and fight for a clean energy future. 

High-profile meetings, events and multiple activities will be held across New York City during the Climate Week, 19-25 September 2016. Climate Week NYC brings together influential global figures - and new voices - from the worlds of business, government and society who are leading the low carbon transition. Events on 19th September 2016 will take place at The Times Center - New York Times Building. 

Since 1975 Deuville American Film Festival presents a selection of hundreds of cinematographic works from United States: from Hollywood productions to independent cinema. Each year, the Festival pays tribute to several film actores, directors, producers, screenwriters, etc. The 42nd Deauville American Film Festival takes place in Deauville, from 2-11 September 2016.

The 43rd session will be the first plenary session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) during 2016 and will be presided over by the newly-elected IPCC Chair, Hoesung Lee. The main agenda items of this session will be the follow-up to the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP-21) and the themes for Special Reports during the 6th Assessment Report (AR6) cycle. This year, the IPCC will take place at the United Nations Office in Nairobi, Kenya, 11-13 April 2016.

Cinema Planeta, International Environmental Film Festival of Mexico dedicates its eighth edition, 19-24 April 2016 to the issue of climate change. As every year it will present film sections, one specially dedicated to this issue which will be reinforced with a series of lectures. They will also present open-air screenings, their traditional cyclist ride that ends at bicicinema, and also some exhibitions.
