We are announcing Connect4Climate's new weekly competition! In the run-up to the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development- Rio+20 , Connect4Climate invites the C4C community and social media users worldwide to submit entries that answer the question: “How are you greening your life?” We want to see and hear your personal stories about local actions that lead to a greener, more sustainable way of living. Show us what YOU are doing to live a green life with a photo, video, song, drawing, poem, or artwork – anything goes! Submit your stories for a chance to win a Connect4Climate solar backpack!
How to enter: Tweet @connect4climate the link to your original photos, videos, poems, music, blogs, essays (500 words or less), or photos of visual art (including paintings, drawings, sculptures, digital art, etc.) including the hashtag #thegreenlife in the body of the tweet or submit via email to c4c@worldbank.org (essays in the body of the email, links to your YouTube video, blog post entry, or attached photos, videos, or music files).
Please note that when tweeting us your entry, you are using the Twitter service, and you remain responsible for complying with Twitter’s applicable policies and terms of use. We cannot be responsible for any claims by Twitter that Users have violated their policies and terms of use. Please also note that if your Twitter profile is protected we will not be able to receive your entries via Twitter.
Submissions must show or describe personal actions the entrant takes to lessen his/her impact on the environment and live a greener life. Innovation, imagination, and creativity are highly encouraged! One winner will be selected each week (Monday through Sunday), and one prize will be awarded per winner.
