With the end of 2020 fast approaching and COP26 only a year away, it’s becoming ever more important to ramp up climate ambition and amplify the voices of worldwide #Youth4Climate champions demanding meaningful urgent action.
Part of the Race to Zero Dialogues convened by the High-Level Champions for Global Climate Action, Episode 6 of #Youth4ClimateLive will be all about Driving Ambition. This theme aligns with the Dialogues’ overarching mission to highlight various sectors’ recent strides toward carbon neutrality and lay the groundwork for additional collaboration and innovation moving forward towards COP26. Join us on November 18 for an insightful discussion on the ways youth leaders, policymakers, and the private sector can work hand in hand to deepen the commitments of the Paris Agreement and pave the way to a sustainable future.
Italian Minister of Environment, Land and Sea Sergio Costa will share his experience with the making and implementation of climate policy, while B Team CEO Halla Tómasdóttir will discuss the role of the private sector in a green recovery. Joining them will be youth leaders Maximo Mazzocco (Argentina), Nisreen Elsaim (Sudan), and Luisa Neubauer (Germany), all of whom bring to the table valuable perspectives on how youth leadership can influence global climate policy.
Let’s keep the #ClimateAction momentum going and continue to push for a sustainable and liveable future. See you on the 18th!
