Fashion4Climate initiative collaborates with trendsetters of the fashion sector to set new parameters.

 

Fashion and style are ever-present reminders of our values. We see, wear, feel, and smell our clothes every day. Companies that turn once-polluting manufacturing processes into sustainable ones demonstrate you can take care of the planet, and your primary needs at the same time.

 

On March, 20, The Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) will be holding the 2nd International Roundtable on Sustainability, an event designed for international luxury brand CSR managers to provide a forum for discussion and training on sustainability issues in the luxury fashion industry. 

 

Giulia Braga, Connect4Climate program manager, will be speaking at a session on "UN Sustainable Development Goals: the Fashion Perspective." Birgit Lia Altmann, Associate Economic Affairs Officer, ‎United Nations Economic Commission for Europe; Giulia Dramis, Climate Change and Energy Expert, Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea; and Lilian Liu, Manager, Partnerships and UN Relations, United Nations Global Compact, are also invited to speak at this session.
