The United Nations Environment Assembly was founded in 2012 to conduct regular assessments of international climate policy and to keep the global community on track through bold initiatives. This year, the UNEA is convening in Nairobi, Kenya for its fourth session, which will focus on the spirit of innovation and its role in supporting sustainable practices in goverment, in business, and among everyday citizens. Connect4Climate is especially looking forward to the UNEA's launch of a UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion on March 14 and to the One Planet Summit taking place the same day. The Summit will entail a wide-ranging discussion of how finance and policy can be leveraged to bolster the Paris Agreement, and will feature speakers from the World Bank Group alongside many other international leaders.
