Do you have revolutionary ideas on how to accelerate climate action, build a circular economy, scale up renewable energy, or cut the waste out of water management? Climate innovators aged 18-35 are invited to apply now to attend a one-of-a-kind event taking place April 23 at the Politecnico di Torino University as part of the Planet Week program unfolding in Turin, Italy in the run-up to this year’s G7 Climate, Energy and Environment Summit. Applications close on April 1 at 11:59 PM CET, so you’ll need to act fast!
This event, the product of a partnership between Connect4Climate-World Bank, and the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development, led by Politecnico di Torino, will connect selected climate innovators with industry experts, facilitating a dynamic exchange of ideas leading to novel solutions and exciting networking opportunities. Young attendees will form valuable relationships with leaders from across the G7 thematic areas of Climate Action, Circular Economy, Renewable Energy, and Water, working alongside them to develop essential solutions – solutions which will feed into the G7 itself!
You need not reside in Italy to apply — just be advised that, if chosen, you will be expected to cover your own travel and lodging expenses. Prior to the main event happening April 23 at Politecnico di Torino, you will also be expected to attend a brief virtual session on April 9 laying out guidelines and expectations.
We can’t wait to see how your creativity and forward thinking shine through in your application! Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to network, swap ideas, and collaborate with industry experts on the climate solutions we need to achieve a sustainable future.
