ItalyFirst in Los Angeles, then Las Vegas, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Milan. Now the Green Fashion Week arrives in Rome and reaffirms the Italian's initiative in the international fashion scene. It is the sixth edition of the event, which will take place from November 6th to 9th. During the Green Fashion Week, alternatives will be given to reflection on sustainability issues at presentations and parades of the most innovative brands in the Italian and international landscape.
Green Fashion Week begins on November 6, 2017, at the Temple of Hadrian, with a roundtable, promoted by the Ministry of the Environment and devoted to fashion conscious and the themes related to textile innovation. A meeting to discuss a rapidly expanding industry expansive, sophisticated and of high relevance as the one of sustainable fashion.
From the afternoon of November 6, and on the following days, Green Fashion Week will be the place for sustainable brands of Italian and international designers who intend to promote the concept of sustainability through their collections, made with sustainable materials and production processes from the point of environmental and social view.
The ancient Roman ruins and the most iconic monuments of Italy's capital will be the cornerstone of fashion shows, video footage and photographic shooting of exclusive sustainable collections made by national and international designers. Among them are the brand new Kromagnon, Royal Blush from Switzerland, Nomadic Collector, Costa Rica, Danish designer Victoria Ladefoged, and the Greek brand Exallo.
