Film4Climate Competition Logo (Black)
The competition was targeted towards young people, aged 14 – 35, for two length categories  - Public Service Announcements and Short Films. In addition to the major prizes for these groups, there will also be a Popular Prize and special awards going to the best videos on the subject of carbon pricing, regional awards for filmmakers from the Middle East and North Africa, and special prizes for young entrants, aged 14 – 17.

Uniting4Climate Logo Competition

World Bank’s Global Partnership Program, Connect4Climate is joining the Government of the Republic of Fiji’s incoming Presidency of COP23 in collaboration with Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and other partners to present the #Uniting4Climate campaign. The campaign is meant to highlight unity in support of climate solutions; countries, cities, regions, businesses, civil society and individuals are “Uniting for Climate Action.”

In the lead up and during COP 23 (Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) partners will share messages, host events and showcase climate solutions under the #Uniting4Climate hashtag.

The Uniting4Climate International VR Pitch Competition asks for a pitch – a proposal for a VR production in the form of a 400-word description and a 1 minute sample video – that will use the particular qualities of VR to illustrate and explain to best effect climate solutions and action, inspiring the unity behind solving the climate challenge. The aim is to enable the widest possible international participation for creative people with a passionate interest in, or strong experience of, climate change action and solutions, but also an appetite for exploring the VR production experience.

All4TheGreen Logo - English Version

All4TheGreen - A week of action in the lead-up of G7 Environment Ministers Meeting.

Bologna became the capital of the Environment with #All4TheGreen: over 70 events opened to the public from June 5 to 12. This series of activities paved the way to the Environment Ministerial Meeting, scheduled for June 11-12. The entire city - institutions, universities, and businesses - were involved over the week, in events dedicated to the protection of the environment, to sustainable development and to the circular economy.
